About

Dartmouth Coach

Dartmouth Coach is a homegrown New England business that became part of Concord Coach Lines in the mid 1990s. At that time, we offered a reservation-only van service providing transportation to and from Logan Airport. Since then, the service has expanded to operate modern 51 passenger Prevost XL motor coaches and offers frequent and convenient scheduled trips from Lebanon, Hanover and New London to Boston’s South Station and Logan Airport. In 2009 we began a reservation-based luxury service from the Upper Valley direct to midtown Manhattan.

No. Every effort is made to operate according to published schedules. Connections are not guaranteed and schedules are subject to change without notice. Circumstances sometimes develop beyond our control and Dartmouth Coach cannot hold itself responsible for errors in timetables, inconvenience or damage resulting from delayed coaches.

All Dartmouth Coach motorcoaches are equipped with a restroom in the rear of the coach.

Space permitting, bicycles may be carried in a separate compartment or placed in such a manner as to not damage any baggage after all the luggage has been loaded. There is no guarantee that bicycles will be accepted by connecting carriers.

Customers with disabilities accompanied by a service animal are welcome. The service animal is the responsibility of its owner and must be under the control of its owner at all times (i.e., leash, harness or carrier). The service animal must ride in the bus within the customer’s space. Service animals may not travel in the aisle or occupy a seat. Dartmouth Coach reserves the right to refuse passage to any animal that poses a direct threat to the health and safety of other customers, Dartmouth Coach personnel.

Any bag weighing in excess of 50lbs. will be handled by the passenger. If you require assistance, please notify the Driver and someone will assist you.

Yes. We discourage the use of cellular phones on all Dartmouth Coach buses with the exception of those situations where either a quick message or circumstances beyond our control delays the arrival time of a passenger for a meeting or travel connection. Dartmouth Coach requests that the use of cell phones be limited out of respect and courtesy to fellow passengers.

Dartmouth Coach is pleased to offer free onboard WiFi on all of its motorcoaches. Due to the nature of the technology, there are certain times when the signal may be lost and Dartmouth Coach is not responsible for interruptions of service that are beyond our control.

Boston Service
Children 8-11 years old may travel alone only under the following conditions: the origin agency must be open at the departure time and the destination agency must be open at arrival time. There will be no pick-ups or drop-offs at flagstops. Trips must not exceed 5 hours and must be made during daylight hours. Transfers are not permitted. Parent or legal guardian must sign an “Unaccompanied Child Form,” which releases Dartmouth Coach from any responsibility. An adult must drop-off and be waiting to meet the child upon arrival. The adult at the destination must provide a photo ID showing that they are the person identified on the “Unaccompanied Child Form” before the child is released. The child must pay the adult fare.

New York Service
Minor children under the age of 16 may not travel on the New York bus unaccompanied by an adult. Per our policy on unaccompanied minors, the trip duration is longer than five hours and there is no agency in New York for children to wait for the appropriate adult to pick them up.

Dartmouth Coach requires a photo ID for all passengers traveling with an adult ticket. We do not require identification for children under the age of 12 traveling with a parent or guardian; however, if they are traveling alone, they will need a school ID, Passport, or copy of their birth certificate. Children under the age of 17 with no photo ID must be accompanied by an adult with a photo I.D. upon purchasing a ticket.

These are security measures that we take in the event that there is an emergency and allows us to assist officials in identifying who traveled on a particular day. We do not generate passenger lists for each bus. Therefore, we require you to show your ID each time you travel. This information is not stored in our system. We print your name on the ticket to ensure that you are the person traveling. If you have questions on acceptable forms of ID or special circumstances, please contact Dartmouth Coach directly at 1-800-637-0123.
